Frobisher’s history

Collection

Frobisher began as a railway crossroads. The village was built where two rail lines met: the Canadian Pacific Railway's Souris Line and the Grand Trunk Regina-Boundary Branch Line, which later became a Canadian National line. It was first called Frobyshire, but an error in the original village plans meant the name had to be changed.
